Art House provides art classes, camps, workshops and parties for all ages. Learn art, love art, and have fun. Students at the Art House explore art mediums of all different kinds from watercolor, acrylic paints, charcoal, and pencil, to pastels, oils, sculpting clay, and more. Different art styles, techniques, and artists throughout history provide the foundation of each class, opening up the world of art history to each student.
Preschool Art– Designed especially for children age 4 and 5, these half hour art classes focus on developing and refining fine motor skills as children explore a variety of art-making materials and techniques.
Drawing & Painting for Ages K-2nd Grade – Designed for children age 6 to age 8, these hour long art classes focus on developing and refining fine motor skills as children explore a variety of art-making materials and techniques.
Drawing & Painting for Ages 3rd-5th Grade -Designed for children age 8 to age 11, these hour long classes focus on refining fine motor skills as your child draws, paints, and sculpts while working with a variety of different art materials and styles.
Homeschool Art -Younger students focus on refining fine motor skills while older students and teens build techniques and technical skills through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Through out the semester students receive handouts on the techniques, artists, or art movements they have studied that week.
Tween Art – Designed for age 11 to age 14, these hour and a half art classes encourage students to develop their own style and ideas while exploring different mediums, styles, and artists.
Teen Art – Designed for age 14 to age 18, under the direction of a professional artist instructor, these two hour art classes focus on developing college portfolios and projects of the students own choosing.
Adult Art – For adults who want to learn figure drawing, painting with acrylic, painting with watercolor, or just learning art essentials. The Art House two hour adult art classes are for adults of any age and any level of ability, from beginner to professional.
Extra Special Art – Designed for adults with special needs, ages 18 and older, these art classes explore individual expression and abilities while fostering self-esteem, group participation, self-control and individuality. Students learn to explore a variety of different art materials and styles and are encouraged to trust their own decision-making skills through the guidance of a professional artist.
